What To Expect
Our aim is to ensure your visit is both convenient and enjoyable. New patients are requested to fill out the New Patient Registration form prior to their visit and bring a printed copy.
If you encounter any issues while completing these forms, don’t worry; our team will be ready to help with your queries during your appointment. This helps streamline the check-in process.
Additionally, please remember to bring:
- Insurance card
- Driver’s license
- List of current medications
Our lively and personable staff are committed to making every aspect of your brief stay with us seamless. From the minute you walk in, you will feel the Live Oak difference.
Insurance
We accept most insurance plans at Live Oak Endoscopy Center. Please verify with our staff that we accept your current insurance when you call the scheduler if you have any questions regarding what your policy will cover on your upcoming procedure.
Cancellation Policy
Out of respect for other patients who need Live Oak Endoscopy Center, we ask that you try to avoid canceling or missing appointments. Cancelled and missed appointments interfere with our ability to provide prompt and convenient scheduling to all our patients.
Important Tips
Please be sure to talk to the doctor about any daily medication that you are currently taking, especially for conditions related to the heart, diabetes, or blood pressure. Also, let the doctor know if you are using any over-the-counter drugs such as Aspirin, Acetaminophen, Advil, Motrin, herbal supplements, or vitamins. Your doctor will give you instructions about taking any medication before surgery.
The Night Before Surgery
The night before the surgery, please do not eat or drink anything after midnight, including water, for your own safety. This includes hard candy, gum, or prescription drugs unless directed by your doctor. Undigested food in the stomach may cause complications, and your surgery is likely to be delayed if you forget to follow any of these instructions.
